Acer Inc. reported consolidated revenues of NT$30.18 billion for August, up 38.4% year-on-year, and NT$214.81 billion for the year-to-August period, up 25.1%, both marking 13-year highs for the same periods. PC revenues grew 40.5% in August and 22.6% year-to-date, while desktop PC revenues rose 14.5% and 33.4% respectively, driven by AI usage. Chromebook revenues surged 166.3% in August and 11.7% year-to-date, and commercial line revenues increased 60.6% and 38.9%. Revenues from businesses other than personal computers and displays grew over 35.4% year-to-date, contributing 35.0% of total group revenues, with Acer ITS Inc. up 53.5% and Acer Fashion Inc. up 17.1%. At the next@acer press conference in Berlin, Acer unveiled new products including an ultra-light laptop, a mini workstation for AI workloads, and the relaunch of Packard Bell, while the Acer Vero 16 laptop won IFA Innovation Awards.
