S&P Global may see its competitive advantages reinforced rather than eroded by artificial intelligence. While AI can automate tasks like summarizing filings and screening companies, the company's value lies in trusted financial infrastructure, proprietary datasets, and deeply embedded institutional workflows that are difficult to replicate. As AI-generated content proliferates, demand for verified, auditable data could increase, benefiting S&P Global's credit ratings, benchmark indexes, and platforms like Capital IQ and Platts. The company is already integrating AI into its offerings, positioning itself as essential data infrastructure for the AI era. Though some lower-end analytics may become commoditized, the firm's decades of credibility and hard-to-replicate datasets may become even more valuable.
ThinkingAI Opens Agentic Growth Platform to Game Studios With Plans From $0
ThinkingAI, which builds autonomous growth software for consumer and gaming companies, has opened its analytics, engagement and agent stack to game studios that buy software with a card instead of a procurement cycle, offering four self-serve plans priced from $0 to $999 a month. The Free tier costs $0 and includes 2 million events a month, 1 project, 1 seat, 12 months of data retention and $10 in Agent Credits for the first month, with no credit card required. Starter costs $199 a month for 5 million events, 2 projects, 5 seats, 24 months of retention and $25 a month in Agent Credits, while Pro costs $399 a month for 10 million events, 2 projects, 10 seats, 48 months of retention and $50 a month in Agent Credits. Team costs $999 a month for 30 million events, 3 projects, 15 seats, 60 months of retention and $100 a month in Agent Credits, and an Enterprise tier is sold by agreement with sales for larger studios with compliance or data residency requirements. Annual billing saves 20%, paid plans are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time, and a studio that outgrows its event allowance moves up a plan inside the product with no re-instrumentation and no migration. The plans follow ThinkingAI's Sept. 16 launch of the Agentic Engine and draw on 10 years of behavioral data across more than 1,500 enterprises and 8,000 applications, including Sega, Krafton, Habby, Century Games, Xiaomi, Yostar, TCL and FunPlus, and are being announced at the ThinkingAI Agentic Game Growth Summit in Istanbul, co-hosted with Mobidictum.

Euromonitor Launches Next-Generation Passport With AI Assistant Integration
Euromonitor International unveiled the next generation of Passport, its AI-powered market intelligence platform, on October 6, 2026. The rollout begins today, with clients transitioning to the new Passport experience in phases through a structured onboarding programme. A defining feature is Passport Connect, which extends Euromonitor intelligence beyond the Passport platform into the tools organisations use every day, letting teams access trusted market insight in Microsoft Copilot and other supported AI assistants through MCP, and bring Euromonitor data into their own applications, enterprise systems and workflows through APIs and integrations. The rebuilt platform allows users to ask questions in natural language, connects intelligence across markets, consumers, companies and economies, and uses AI-generated summaries and unified search to reach relevant insight faster. CEO Tim Kitchin said the next generation of Passport builds on more than 50 years of independent research and expert analysis, while Chief Technology Officer Chris Fosberry said Passport Connect makes Euromonitor's market intelligence accessible within the tools organisations already know.

Veeva DQS Cleans Data for Over 1 Million Subjects Across More Than 1,000 Studies
Veeva Systems announced that its Veeva DQS data quality system has aggregated and cleaned data for more than 1 million subjects across more than 1,000 studies, with more than 500,000 automated queries saving thousands of hours in data reconciliation for sites and sponsors. The system automates data workflows, classifies and visualizes critical data, and orchestrates risk-based actions while eliminating manual data reconciliation. It also enables risk-based quality management through automated data exchange with Veeva CTMS, instantly alerting clinical operations teams to key data changes such as protocol deviations and letting clinical data teams calculate, track, and action key risk indicators. Veeva DQS embeds AI to speed classification of study data and understand its purpose and criticality, generating items such as reports, listings, or test scripts and delivering role-based user experiences and workflows. Ibrahim Kamstrup-Akkaoui, vice president at Novo, said Veeva DQS can help manage, format, clean, and prepare growing clinical trial data for submission more efficiently, while Pavel Burmenko, lead of Veeva DQS strategy, said the platform is ushering in next-generation data management. Veeva also noted that Veeva Study Builder Agent, recently announced, configures Veeva EDC and Veeva DQS directly from a study protocol for faster, more consistent study builds.

Snowflake shares fell about 3% in premarket trading on Tuesday after ASOS customers received a notification claiming that hackers had compromised the retailer's Snowflake instance and threatened to leak data. The notification, addressed to ASOS's data protection officer and IT department, was widely shared on social media and reported by media outlets. "Dear ASOS DPO and IT, we have fully compromised the Snowflake instance. Engage with us, or we will leak it," the message reads. The reports also weighed on ASOS shares, which fell more than 10% in London. Snowflake did not immediately respond to Seeking Alpha's request for a comment.

Insight Partners Launches First Forward Deployed Engineering Council
Insight Partners, the New York venture capital and private equity firm, is launching the industry's first forward deployed engineering council, with members drawn from Microsoft, Data Bricks, SAP, Service now, Anthropic, Wonderful, one of its own portfolio companies, and others. Operating Partner Pablo Dominguez announced the initiative on Bloomberg Tech, saying the council will share best practices with Insight's portfolio companies and the wider industry. Dominguez cited an IDC report finding that 88% of all AI implementations have not gotten past the POC stage, and said the top five platform companies spent over 9.5 billion dollars this year building their own forward deployed engineering teams. He said the firm sees forward deployed engineers as a way to expand a company's total addressable market rather than add a layer of cost, because the engineers embed with customers and feed each implementation back into the product. Insight Partners, which has backed over 600 companies in its 30 years investing in tech and AI software, will also hold its Scale Up AI conference in New York, with leaders from Anthropic and the CRO president of Data Bricks discussing how that company scaled from 0 to 7 billion.
