Shares of Bangkok Expressway and Metro, or BEM, fell 2.29% to 6.40 baht, down 0.15 baht, with trading value of 130.64 million baht, after the Expressway Authority of Thailand, or EXAT, announced an additional 2 days of toll waivers, on September 28 and 29, on top of the previous September 26-27, for a total of 4 days, across all 8 expressways under EXAT, including all expressways managed by BEM: Chaloem Maha Nakhon Expressway, Si Rat Expressway, Prachim Ratthaya Expressway, and Udon Ratthaya Expressway. Krungsri Securities said the financial impact this time is limited, estimating that without government compensation, about 100 million baht in revenue would be lost, equal to 2% of total revenue in the third quarter of 2026, or 0.6% of total revenue for 2026. However, it expects the state to compensate for the lost revenue, and it maintains a buy recommendation with a target price of 8.8 baht, keeping its 2026 net profit forecast at 3.9 billion baht, or 3% growth from the previous year.
