Chayo Group Public Company Limited, or CHAYO, is pressing ahead with expanding its personal loan base, focusing on Advance or emergency loans through the Chayo Capital application, targeting an increase of around 5,000 to 10,000 app-based customers this year, up from the current base of around 2,000 to 3,000 such customers. Chief Executive Officer Suksan Yosain opened up that hitting that target will help support revenue from the lending business to expand, from its current share of around 2% of revenue. The main revenue structure still comes from the debt management and debt purchase business at around 90%, followed by debt collection services at around 4-5% and the business of supplying workers to factories at around 3%. SoFi Migrates US$25 Billion Card Portfolio to Bank-Issued Stablecoin SoFiUSD

SoFi Technologies and Mastercard announced that stablecoin settlement went live across SoFi Bank, N.A.'s debit and credit card program, migrating its entire US$25.00 billion card portfolio to SoFiUSD. SoFiUSD is the first stablecoin issued by a nationally chartered bank on Mastercard's global network, positioning bank-issued stablecoins as an operational bridge between traditional payment rails and blockchain infrastructure. The move connects to SoFi's April 2026 launch of Big Business Banking, which lets enterprises manage fiat and crypto, mint and burn SoFiUSD, and access real time payments in a single bank interface. SoFi's narrative projects $7.7 billion revenue and $1.6 billion earnings by 2029, requiring 21.6% yearly revenue growth and an earnings increase of about $1.0 billion from $636.3 million today, while the most pessimistic analysts saw SoFi reaching only about US$6.0 billion revenue and US$1.0 billion earnings by 2029.

Synchrony Integrates CareCredit Financing Into Vetspire Platform

Synchrony Financial is deepening CareCredit's veterinary reach by integrating its financing options directly into Vetspire's AI-enabled practice management platform, bringing payment into the clinical workflow and reducing reliance on separate payment terminals. Vetspire is used by more than 1,000 veterinary hospitals and clinics nationwide, and about 85% of its clinics are already enrolled with CareCredit, leaving the remaining 15% as an opportunity for incremental provider adoption. The companies plan to collect clinic-level performance data to quantify whether the integration improves workflow efficiency and treatment acceptance, and participating practices gain access to CareCredit's marketing resources and business intelligence support. For Synchrony, the deal extends CareCredit into the digital infrastructure surrounding healthcare payments; in the second quarter of 2026, Health & Wellness purchase volume increased 2.1% year over year, primarily on higher Pet spending, while health and wellness loan receivables rose 0.5%.

IFS Capital Signs Inaugural S$79 Million MSME Loan Securitisation

IFS Capital Limited has signed its inaugural loan securitisation programme, a S$79 million transaction backed by a portfolio of MSME loans secured by Singapore real estate, with financial close expected in October 2026 and DBS Bank Ltd acting as sole arranger. Under the deal, a defined pool of loans from IFS Capital's existing MSME loan portfolio will be sold to a special purpose vehicle that will fund the purchase through the issuance of senior, mezzanine and subordinated notes; IFS Capital will retain the mezzanine and subordinated notes, which rank behind the senior notes, and will continue to service the loans. CapitaLand Investment will subscribe for the full aggregate principal amount of the senior notes on the first issue date, in line with its real estate private credit strategy. The notes have a tenor of four years, and the transaction lets IFS Capital recycle capital that would otherwise remain committed to loans until maturity so it can redeploy into new MSME lending. Group lending assets stood at S$475 million as at 30 June 2026.

Ekniti touts AI Nok Krasib, helping shops sell smarter and access credit through Thung Ngern

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas said the "AI Nok Krasib" credit program, launched on September 10, 2026 and now 21 days into operation, has made it easier for freelancers, small operators and SMEs to access formal credit by using sales data and payment records from the "Thung Ngern" application in credit assessments. This builds on the use of the "Nok Krasib" AI as a sales-planning and cost-management assistant for shops in the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" program. Ekniti said he wants merchants not only to be able to sell, but to sell well and sell smart. He gave the example that if data shows Thursday is the best sales day, shops can use sales figures and the number of items sold to plan and stock goods in line with demand. He added that today Nok Krasib makes it easier to reach banks without needing collateral. For credit products under the program, Krungthai Bank offers "Sip Muen Loan" with a maximum of 500,000 baht per borrower and an interest rate starting at 11% per year, and "Small-Size SME Loan" with a maximum of 3 million baht per borrower and an interest rate starting at 3.5% per year, fixed for the first two years, guaranteed by the Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) with no collateral required. Government Savings Bank offers "GSB QR Maha Heng x Nok Krasib" with a maximum of 50,000 baht, not exceeding 1.5 times average sales over at least the past three months, with no collateral required, at a flat-rate interest of 0.75% per month, equivalent to an effective annual rate of 16.20%. Registration and preliminary eligibility screening via the bank's website runs from September 24 to October 31, 2026. In addition, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), the Islamic Bank of Thailand (iBank) and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank) are jointly developing credit products under the program, along with TCG credit guarantee mechanisms, to meet working capital needs, boost liquidity and support business expansion for each group of entrepreneurs.
