Hims & Hers Health shares fell after Reuters reported the U.S. Federal Trade Commission is suing the telehealth company for allegedly sharing users' health data with online advertisers. An FTC spokesperson said the company shared the information despite pledging to protect privacy and also engaged in deceptive billing and cancellation practices. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County and Utah, accuses Hims & Hers of sending user data to advertising firms including Meta and Snap through website interactions and tracking methods. Hims & Hers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
