The work is a three-year SaaS agreement built on NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, under which Jacobs will use the digital twin to optimize energy demand, monitor operations, and balance power loads across the AI facility. The stock closed the day at $139.76, up 3.3% from the previous close. Jacobs Solutions is up 3.3% since the beginning of the year, but at $139.77 per share it is still trading 15% below its 52-week high of $164.44 from October 2025.
Metthier partners with Mahidol University to develop Thailand's first SMART Campus
Metthier Company Limited, or Metthier, signed an academic memorandum of understanding, or MOU, with the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, Salaya, to develop Thailand's first Smart Integrated Facility Management model SMART Campus. Khayon Tantichatwat, Chief Executive Officer of Metthier, said the collaboration will combine Smart Integrated Facility Management, a Command Center, and Digital Twin to comprehensively upgrade the management of educational spaces and buildings, while also serving as a learning center for the education, public, and private sectors. Associate Professor Dr. Thanaphat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, said the SMART Campus will be Thailand's first smart campus model, using artificial intelligence, automated system management platforms, and the Internet of Things, or IoT, to improve efficiency in campus management. The collaboration covers technology development and research in five key dimensions: Smart Health, Smart City, Smart Logistics, Smart Security, and Smart Environment, aiming to drive the campus toward net zero carbon emissions under ESG standards and carbon neutrality.

AMD to acquire AI startup World Labs for $8.2 billion
US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices announced on the 28th that it will acquire World Labs, an AI startup led by renowned artificial intelligence researcher Fei-Fei Li, in a deal worth $8.2 billion. AMD will acquire World Labs shares through a stock swap and expects to complete the acquisition within the year. AMD said the acquisition will allow it to build a foothold in AI model research and optimize its infrastructure. After the deal closes, Li will become a senior vice president and chief scientist at AMD, reporting directly to CEO Lisa Su. San Francisco-based World Labs develops spatial intelligence AI models capable of generating, reconstructing, and simulating interactive three-dimensional environments from text, image, and video inputs, with expected applications in robotics, simulation, and design.

Micware and ESRI Japan Form Business Alliance on Spatial Data Infrastructure
Micware has entered into a business alliance with ESRI Japan to develop and commercialize spatial information infrastructure that can continuously capture and analyze changes in the physical world, with applications spanning cities, mobility, roads, and infrastructure. Under the agreement, Micware will provide technology that collects location and video data, while ESRI Japan will use its ArcGIS platform to organize, display, and analyze the information.
