Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited announced the establishment of two new subsidiaries through Krungthai Holding Company Limited, or KTH, a subsidiary in which the bank holds a 99.99% stake, as part of an internal restructuring of its financial business group. Both companies were registered on 1 October 2026 with registered capital of 1 million baht each, fully paid up, and KTH holds 99.99% of the registered capital of each company. The first, Krungthai Allianz Holding Company Limited, was set up to operate as a holding company for companies in the bank's financial business group engaged in shared support services, including digital technology and innovation, with 100,000 ordinary shares at a par value of 10 baht per share. The second, Krungthai Capital Holding Company Limited, was set up to operate as a holding company for companies in the bank's financial business group engaged in investment and asset management, including companies in the insurance business, with 100,000 ordinary shares at a par value of 10 baht per share and registered capital of 1 million baht, fully paid up. The Bank of Thailand has already permitted both newly established companies to be part of the bank's financial business group as of 9 September 2026. The bank stated that the transaction does not constitute a significant transaction or a connected transaction under the relevant notifications.
