SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited, or SC, has secured a Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) from UOB Thailand totaling over 2 billion baht to develop five detached house projects and support land purchases. The loan is tied to SC's ESG performance, which includes achieving an AAA rating in the SET ESG Ratings for 2025 by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The supported projects include Bangkok Boulevard Ratchaphruek-Pinklao, Bangkok Boulevard Signature Pinklao-Borom, Grand Bangkok Boulevard at Uthayan, Venue Portrait Don Mueang-Chaengwattana, and Venue Form Bang Na-Sri Waree. Ms. Sudarat Charoenketmongkol, Deputy Managing Director of Sustainable Development at SC, stated that this support reflects financial institutions' confidence in the company's ESG approach. Meanwhile, Ms. Weera Anong Jiranakorn Phutrakul, Managing Director, Deputy CEO, and Head of Wholesale Banking at UOB Thailand, said UOB is committed to supporting customers through ESG-linked solutions. SC continues its SCero Mission, having reduced cumulative greenhouse gas emissions by 39,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, against a target of 100,000 tonnes by 2030.
