SEC warns CHEWA bondholders of 7 series to re-vote on 7 October after meeting fails to reach quorum

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosed that Chewathai Public Company Limited, or CHEWA, as issuer of bonds CWTTH26OA, CWTTH272A, CWTTH276A, CWTTH27NA, CWTTH27NB, CWTTH282A and CWTTH283A, held the first bondholders' meeting of 2026 on 30 September 2026, but the bondholders attending did not constitute a quorum as required under the rights terms. The company must therefore hold another bondholders' meeting for all seven series on 7 October 2026 at 2:00 p.m. via electronic means, or E-meeting. The key agenda items include granting a waiver so that the holding of bondholders' meetings to adjust debt repayment conditions is not treated as an event of default under the rights terms, for certain series only; extending the bond maturity dates; and amending the conditions for early redemption of the bonds before maturity. The SEC requires the bondholders' representative to clearly analyse the pros and cons, benefits and impacts that bondholders would receive from approving or not approving each resolution, for each option, together with the reasons and opinions of the bondholders' representative. The SEC therefore urges bondholders to study the information carefully, exercise their rights as bondholders to protect their own interests, and seek various information from the bondholders' representative so that they have complete information for deciding how to vote at the bondholders' meeting.

ASW presales hit 15 billion baht in 9 months, unveils 3 new projects to anchor Phuket

AssetWise Public Company Limited, or ASW, reported accumulated sales of 15.287 billion baht in the first nine months of 2026, equal to 83% of its full-year sales target of 18.5 billion baht. Chief Executive Officer Kromchet Vipanpong said the results were driven by government property stimulus measures and cuts to the policy interest rate. Products that continued to draw strong demand were condominiums along mass transit lines and campus condos. In the third quarter, the new Wynn Bangmod-Pracha Uthit project, valued at 500 million baht, booked more than 50% of its units from the moment sales opened. The company plans to launch three new projects in the final stretch of the year. These are the Cave Bloom Kaset campus condo near Kasetsart University, with a total project value of 1.5 billion baht, and two Leisure Residence projects in Phuket through its affiliate Rompho Property Public Company Limited, or TITLE. They are The Fizz Kata, a second condominium in the Kata Beach area with a project value of 1.1 billion baht, and The Quartz Karon, a luxury condominium with a project value of 1.4 billion baht, marking the company's first expansion into Karon Beach. The company assessed that flooding in several areas could affect confidence in residential locations in the short term, but it still sees positive factors from the tourism sector, especially Phuket, which is entering its tourism season and benefiting from four new direct flight routes from Europe, the Middle East and Eastern Europe starting in February. Meanwhile, data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Phuket office showed that in the first eight months of the year, the largest group of foreign tourists arriving in Phuket remained those from Russia, China, India and Europe, high-purchasing-power buyers looking for second homes and long-term residences.

AMATA Confirms Flooding at Chonburi Industrial Estate Has Not Affected New Investors, Rushing to Pump Water Out Within 1-3 Days

Miss Dendao Komolmes, Chief Financial Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, or AMATA, disclosed that the flooding situation within Amata Chonburi Industrial Estate was caused by several consecutive days of heavy rain combined with external water masses flowing in, because the estate area forms part of the drainage route to the sea, making some areas the first to receive water. Currently, AMATA has fully blocked and built barriers against external water masses and is accelerating the pumping of water out of the area. The water level is expected to recede until completely dry and return to normal within 1-3 days from 2 October 2026. Most of the area was unaffected. The mainly affected areas are in the rear phases, namely Phases 7, 8 and 9, which have water levels higher than normal, while the large AMATA Smart City Chonburi area and Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate were unaffected. As for some factories that temporarily suspended operations, the cause was transport and employee travel restrictions, not direct flooding of factory buildings, and the number of factories actually affected is expected to be lower than the figures appearing in the news. Regarding the confidence of new investors, AMATA confirmed there has been no impact, and it continues to move forward with negotiations with investors, while applying its business continuity management plan from the first day of the incident and will draw lessons to upgrade disaster response measures against future climate change.
AMATA.BK · Supply · Negative Flooding at Amata Chonburi Industrial Estate disrupted operations and forced some factories to temporarily suspend work, though the company says new-investor confidence is unaffected.

Vision recommends 3 hotel stocks to benefit from China's long holiday and IMF-World Bank meetings

Chayut Krailatrattanasiri, Assistant Director of the Research Department at Land and Houses Securities, told the Vision team that the overall outlook for tourism stocks in the fourth quarter of 2026 is clearly quite positive. Although early in the quarter there was pressure from flooding, this is assessed as only a short-term impact. The main supporting factors come from China's Golden Week, a long holiday early in the fourth quarter that has helped drive Chinese tourist arrivals into Thailand higher, with a clear acceleration, as well as Thailand hosting the IMF and World Bank meetings in mid-October, a positive factor in terms of policy and economic activity that directly supports tourism stocks. The research team views hotels as the biggest beneficiaries of the recovery in tourist numbers, expecting fourth-quarter operating results and profits to grow outstandingly. Airlines also benefit, but their upside is limited by still-high oil costs. The three standout hotel stocks named as Top Picks are AWC, with a target price of 20 baht, which the research team is in the process of reviewing upward on structural positives from the establishment of AWR that will help unlock asset value and increase liquidity; ERW, with a target price of 80 baht, which is assessed as still offering upside for investment; and CENTEL, with a consensus target price of 50 baht.
AWC.BK · Demand · Positive Named as a Top Pick hotel stock expected to benefit from higher Chinese tourist arrivals during China's Golden Week and the IMF-World Bank meetings in Thailand.

TRIS Says Floods Have Not Yet Affected Most Property Credit, Warns Prolonged Flooding Could Pressure Sales, Transfers and Liquidity

TRIS Rating assessed on October 2, 2026, that the flood situation in Bangkok and surrounding areas has not yet had a significant impact on the credit ratings of most property developers, as physical damage to projects has been limited and many operators have projects spread across multiple areas, along with diversified businesses and liquidity buffers. Overall credit sensitivity remains low to moderate. However, TRIS said the flood situation could pressure short-term operations, including access to projects and construction sites, a decline in the number of customers visiting projects, construction delays and postponed ownership transfers, which could slow sales, lengthen the time needed to clear remaining inventory and temporarily reduce operating cash flow. If flooding is prolonged or recurs, the impact could be more severe, especially for operators with projects concentrated in affected areas, weak residential sales or tight liquidity. TRIS identified the highly sensitive group as Property Perfect, Munkong Housing and Villa Kunalai. Meanwhile, Siam Asset, Noble Development, Pruksa Holding, Lalin Property, Sena Development, Origin Property and L.P.N. Development have moderate sensitivity. TRIS said the flooding occurred at a time when the low-rise housing market was already experiencing weak demand. Data from 21 rated property developers showed that net sales of low-rise projects in the first half of 2026 fell 16% from the same period a year earlier to about 58 billion baht.
KUN.BK · Supply · Negative TRIS identifies Villa Kunalai among the highly sensitive group where prolonged flooding could disrupt project access, construction and transfers, pressuring sales and liquidity.
Property Perfect Public Company Limited · Supply · Negative Property Perfect is named in TRIS's highly sensitive group, most exposed to flooding-related construction delays, postponed transfers and weak liquidity.
LALIN.BK · Supply · Negative Lalin Property is listed in TRIS's moderate-sensitivity group facing flood-related construction delays, fewer project visits and postponed ownership transfers.
LPN.BK · Supply · Negative L.P.N. Development is in TRIS's moderate-sensitivity group, exposed to flood-driven construction delays, slower sales and reduced operating cash flow.
NOBLE.BK · Supply · Negative Noble Development is among the moderate-sensitivity developers where flooding could slow sales, delay transfers and lengthen inventory clearing.
ORI.BK · Supply · Negative TRIS lists Origin Property among developers with moderate sensitivity to flooding, which could delay construction and ownership transfers and slow sales.

Citi names Scout24 and Trustpilot as top picks, backs data owners over AI layer

Citi analysts are backing platforms that own the data over the AI layer built on top of it, naming Scout24 and Trustpilot as their top picks with both rated "buy." The broker argues that leading platforms benefit from owning inventory, transaction and reputation data, particularly in high-value categories where recommendation accuracy matters most. Citi sees online property classifieds as the lowest-risk corner of the sector, with Scout24 the standout, citing the company's early optimisation for AI agents as a key reason for its confidence. Its case for Trustpilot rests on its review dataset, which the bank says is increasingly important for LLM recommendation quality, fitting the central argument that reputation data is a valuable asset whose value may accrue to the data's owner rather than to the AI layer above it. Citi adds that while AI agents could eventually become the primary discovery interface, it is too early to conclude that, and notes users continue to favour specialist AI tools embedded within category leaders while traffic from leading LLMs remains negligible.
G24.XETRA · Capital · Positive Citi names Scout24 a top pick with a buy rating, calling online property classifieds the lowest-risk corner and praising its early AI-agent optimisation.
