Chinalin Securities Acting CEO Dong Dong to Face Regulatory Interview by Jiangxi Securities Regulatory Bureau Over Past Role at Guosheng Securities
Chinalin Securities announced on the evening of September 24 that Dong Dong, a member of the company's executive committee and acting chief executive officer, has received a prior notice of regulatory interview from the Jiangxi Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission regarding matters unrelated to the company. The Jiangxi bureau determined that Dong Dong bore responsibility for relevant compliance issues during his previous tenure as general manager of the wealth management department and as a senior executive overseeing the brokerage business management department and wealth management department at Guosheng Securities. It plans to impose an administrative regulatory measure of a regulatory interview and record the matter in the securities and futures market integrity archive. Chinalin Securities stressed that all matters covered by the prior notice occurred during Dong Dong's tenure at Guosheng Securities, do not belong to his conduct while at the company, and are unrelated to the company's business operations, internal controls, or financial condition. They will not have a material adverse impact on the company, and all business operations are currently proceeding normally. In the first half of 2026, Chinalin Securities reported operating revenue of 849 million yuan, up 1.7 percent year on year, net profit attributable to the parent company of 258 million yuan, down 23.3 percent year on year, and non-GAAP net profit of 233 million yuan, down 21.9 percent year on year. As of the close on September 24, Chinalin Securities fell 1.96 percent to 14.48 yuan per share, with a total market capitalization of approximately 39.096 billion yuan.
