PepsiCo Inc米食品・飲料大手ペプシコが今後5年間でコロンビアに10億ドルを投資すると、コロンビアのデラエスプリエジャ大統領が27日明らかにした。投資は国内での生産拡大、事業の近代化、流通網の強化を目的とする。大統領はXへの投稿で「信頼は投資を通じて示される。今回の取り組みは雇用の押し上げ、2000を超える農家への支援、国内小規模小売業者の強化につながる」と表明した。これより先、コロンビアのレストレポ副大統領と同国の経済チームが1週間にわたってニューヨークを訪問し、100社超の企業と資本市場の投資家らと面会していた。
