英国は29日、指標10年物国債を発行し、平均利回りが1999年以来最高となった。英債務管理局によると、42億5000万ポンド（56億2000万ドル）の10年債入札の平均利回りは5.383%で、5.694%だった1999年9月以来の高水準となった。投資家からの応札額は発行予定額の3.34倍に達し、比較的堅調な需要となった。28日の流通市場における10年債利回りは5.441%に達し、2007年7月以来の最高水準を記録しており、こうした金利上昇は同国の財政に負担をかけている。
