国交省、今治造船など3社への設備投資支援を決定
金子恭之国土交通相は4日の閣議後記者会見で、国内の造船建造量倍増に向け、今治造船、その子会社のジャパンマリンユナイテッド(JMU)、名村造船所への設備投資支援を決定したと発表した。これは造船業再生に向けた国による支援の第1弾で、今後10年で官民合わせて総額6000億円規模の投資を実行する。国交省の造船業再生基金から3社に最大2131億円を支援し、今治造船とグループ会社の多度津造船に最大1138億円、JMUに494億円、名村造船所とグループ会社の函館どつくに499億円の補助金を交付する。設備投資により、3社の建造量を現行の1.5倍に増強する計画だ。
